Jack Hawkins (footballer)
Jack Hawkins (born 21 May 1954) is a former Australian rules footballer who played 182 games for Geelong from 1973 to 1981. He is the father of current Geelong forward Tom Hawkins.Le Grand, C. Finley Football Club
The Finley Football Club, nicknamed the ''Cats'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the town of Finley located in the Riverina district of New South Wales. The club's football and netball teams currently play in the playing in the Murray FNL, which Finley joined in 1933. History The club held an Annual General Meeting in 1895 and entered the Murray Border Football Association, then in 1899 joined the Federal District Football Association . Brownlow Medal
The Charles Brownlow Trophy, better known as the Brownlow Medal (and informally as "Charlie"), is awarded to the " best and fairest" player in the Australian Football League (AFL) during the home-and-away season, as determined by votes cast by the three officiating field umpires after each game. Fred Le Deux
Frederick David Le Deux (born 4 December 1934) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He is the grandfather of Tom Hawkins. Early life Le Deux grew up in Nagambie and attended Assumption College, after which he went to Bendigo to study teaching. Football While a student at Bendigo Teachers' Training College, Le Deux played for the Sandhurst Football Club. He then moved to Ocean Grove to take up a teaching position and in 1956 joined Geelong. Robb Hawkins
Robb Hawkins (born 10 October 1957) is a former Australian rules footballer, playing with Geelong Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and South Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League. Hawkins is the brother of Jack and Michael Hawkins and the uncle of current Geelong player Tom Hawkins. Robb Hawkins joined South Adelaide in 1979 from Geelong reserves and gave the Panthers fine service. Graham Moss
Graham Frank Moss (born 14 May 1950) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Essendon Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and for the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). A Legend in the West Australian Football Hall of Fame, Moss is recognized as one of the finest ruckmen of his era, winning the Brownlow Medal and then returning to Western Australia, eventually captain-coaching Claremont to the 1981 premiership. 1976 VFL Season
The 1976 VFL season was the 80th season of the Victorian Football League (VFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Victoria. The season featured twelve clubs, ran from 3 April until 25 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top five clubs. The premiership was won by the Hawthorn Football Club for the third time, after it defeated by 30 points in the 1976 VFL Grand Final. Premiership season In 1976, the VFL competition consisted of twelve teams of 18 on-the-field players each, plus two substitute players, known as the 19th man and the 20th man. Murray Football League
The Murray Football Netball League is an Australian rules football and netball league affiliated with the Victorian Country Football League. The league covers a large area of northern Victoria and southern New South Wales from Shepparton in the south to Deniliquin in the north. It covers much the same area as the Picola & District Football League but the teams tend to be the larger communities and towns.
