Jack Hawkins (Nova Scotia Politician)
Walter John "Jack" Hawkins (born May 5, 1932) is an author and former politician in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Hants East in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1970 to 1978, from 1981 to 1984 and from 1988 to 1993 as a Liberal member. He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and educated at Saint Mary's University and the University of New Brunswick. He served in the Canadian Army from 1955 to 1960, reaching the rank of lieutenant.
