Jack Hartman (cyclist)
Jack Hartman (born April 23, 1937) is a former American cyclist. He competed in the tandem event at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He finished second at the 1959 United States Cycling National Championships and third in 1957. He was Junior United States cycling champion in 1953. Olympia is the capital of the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat and largest city of Thurston County. United States Cycling National Championships (historical)
The predecessor of USACycling, the Amateur Bicycle League of America (ABLA) was founded in 1921 and held National Championships starting that year. From 1921 to 1964, these championships were two-, three-, or four-event omniums of track-style events, rather than a road race. USACycling souvenir programs list no results for events in 1931-1934, 1938, and 1942-1944. The 1939 program summarizes the 1937 National Champions.
