Jack Carroll (comedian)
Jack Carroll (born 18 October 1998) is an English comedian and actor. He competed in the Britain's Got Talent (series 7), seventh series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' at the age of 14, finishing as the runner-up. As an actor, he appeared in two series of the CBBC (TV channel), CBBC series ''Ministry of Curious Stuff'' and from 2014 to 2018, he starred in the Sky One, Sky sitcom ''Trollied''. Carroll, whose cerebral palsy is often a subject of his act, won a Pride of Britain award in 2012. Comedy career In 2010, at the age of 12, Carroll came to comedian Jason Manford's attention when he saw a video of Carroll performing at his parents' wedding anniversary. At Manford's invitation, Carroll gave a short performance at the start of Manford's live show in front of more than 1,400 people at St George's Hall, Bradford, St. George's Hall in Bradford. Bradford
Bradford is a city and the administrative centre of the City of Bradford district in West Yorkshire, England. The city is in the Pennines' eastern foothills on the banks of the Bradford Beck. Bradford had a population of 349,561 at the 2011 census; the second-largest population centre in the county after Leeds, which is to the east of the city. It shares a continuous built-up area with the towns of Shipley, Silsden, Bingley and Keighley in the district as well as with the metropolitan county's other districts. The One Show
''The One Show'' is a British television magazine and chat show programme. Broadcast live on BBC One weeknights at 7:00 pm, it features topical stories and studio guests. It is currently co-hosted by Alex Jones, Jermaine Jenas, and Ronan Keating. Various reporters also assist with subject-specific presenting, both in the studio and on location, or through filmed segments. Originally produced in Birmingham and then in the BBC Media Village in White City, London, since 2014 the studio has been based in Broadcasting House, the BBC's headquarters in London. Launched with a pilot series in 2006, leading to a full series from 2007, it has had various previous permanent and temporary hosts. Attraction (shadow Theatre Group)
Attraction are a Hungarian shadow theatre group. They rose to fame during a performance at the Hungary Olympic Oath Ceremony for the London 2012 Olympics, in which they did a rendition of many of the traditional sports within the five rings of the Olympic games logo. Less than a year later, they won the seventh series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' on 8 June 2013, beating Jack Carroll. History 2004: Formation guys The group was founded in 2004 by Zoltán Szűcs. Szűcs himself was a performer who achieved national success in the mid-1990s with his pop group Hip Hop Boyz, when he was known as Real Action. Attraction itself consists of twelve members, although only eight were able to perform on ''Britain's Got Talent'': Torda Katalin, Tóth Alexandra, Fehér Norbert, Lakatos Andrea, Szűcs Zoltán, Szentinek Csaba, Szabados Flóra and Kántor Janka.
