Jack C. Inman
Jack Clay Inman (January 26, 1925 – November 24, 2015) was an American politician. He served as a Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in DeLand, Florida, the son of Clare Higley and Frank Lindon Inman, Inman attended at DeLand High School. He went on to attend Stetson University and the Stetson University College of Law, He then served in the United States Navy during World War II, where he was a communications officer. DeLand, Florida
DeLand is a city in central Florida. It is the county seat of Volusia County. The city sits approximately north of the central business district of Orlando, and approximately west of the central business district of Daytona Beach. As of the 2020 U.S. census, the population was 37,351. It is a part of the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach metropolitan area, which was home to 590,289 people as of the 2010 census. The Florida Legislature is the legislature of the U.S. State of Florida. It is organized as a bicameral body composed of an upper chamber, the Senate, and a lower chamber, the House of Representatives. Stetson University Alumni
Stetson is a brand of hat manufactured by the John B. Stetson Company. "Stetson" is also used as a generic trademark to refer to any campaign hat, in particular, in Scouting. John B. Stetson gained inspiration for his most famous hats when he headed west from his native New Jersey for health reasons. On his return east in 1865, he founded the John B. Stetson Company in Philadelphia. He created a hat that has become symbolic of the pioneering American West, the "Boss of the Plains".
