Jack Buckley (footballer, Born 1997)
Jack Buckley (born 17 December 1997) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Greater Western Sydney Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was selected by the Greater Western Sydney Football Club as a Category B rookie from the NSW zone in 2017. He is the son of former Australian rules footballer and current chairman of the North Melbourne Football Club, Ben Buckley. Early football Buckley played junior football for the Maroubra Saints, where he played in their Under 16 division's premiership. Buckley played for the UNSW-Eastern Suburbs Bulldogs in the Sydney AFL league. He was recruited as a part of the 's academy team at the age of 12, but quit 3 years later at the age of 15 after he found the academy 'too intense'. In the 8th round of his 2017 season with the Bulldogs, he won the league's rising star nomination after kicking four goals in his team's win. Jake Riccardi
Jake Riccardi (born 7 November 1999) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the Greater Western Sydney Giants with the 51st draft pick in the 2019 AFL draft. Early football Riccardi played for the Calder Cannons in the NAB League for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Although he played 29 games and kicked 25 goals over his two seasons at the club, he was overlooked for the AFL draft, and in 2019 joined the Werribee Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL). The season featured eighteen clubs. Played during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the season commenced on 19 March and was suspended four days later; it resumed on 11 June and ran until 24 October.
