Jack Barry (Gaelic Footballer)
Jack Barry (born 24 December 1994) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for the Na Gaeil club and the Kerry county team. Underage Barry played for the Kerry minor team in 2012 and the 2015 under-21 team, bit had little success in either grade. He made his league debut against Donegal in 2017 and his senior championship debut against Clare in 2017. Barry started for Kerry in the 2019 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final drawn game, departing late on with an injury, but was back for the start of the replay. Kerry County Football Team
The Kerry county football team represents County Kerry, Kerry in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Kerry GAA, the County board (Gaelic games), county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Munster Senior Football Championship and the National Football League (Ireland), National Football League. The McGrath Cup is a Gaelic football competition played each January in Munster Munster ( gle, an Mhumhain or ) is one of the provinces of Ireland, in the south of Ireland. All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship
The All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition which began in 2002 and is played by the junior club champions of each county. Prior to that a number of unofficial competitions were held. The winners of each county's junior football championship compete in four provincial championships. The four provincial winners compete in the All Ireland. Ardfert Gaa, Ardfert, a club from Kerry, made history when they won the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship in 2006 and then won the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship in 2007. Kerry clubs have enjoyed the most success, with ten clubs winning the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship since its official inauguration in 2004. Munster Junior Club Football Championship
The Munster Junior Club Football Championship, formally known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Munster GAA Junior Club Football Championship, is a Gaelic football competition, organized by the Munster provincial council of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The competition is played between the winners of the Junior Football championships in the 6 counties of Munster. It was first played officially in 2003 when Annascaul from Kerry and Carbery Rangers from Cork played each other. The Munster Football Intermediate Club Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 2003 for the top intermediate clubs in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is sponsored by Allied Irish Bank and therefore officially known as the AIB Munster GAA Football Intermediate Club Championship. The series of games are played during the autumn and winter months with the Munster final currently being played in late November. Gaelic football ( ga, Peil Ghaelach; short name '), commonly known as simply Gaelic, GAA or Football is an Irish team sport. It is played between two teams of 15 players on a rectangular grass pitch. The objective of the sport is to score by kicking or punching the ball into the other team's goals (3 points) or between two upright posts above the goals and over a crossbar above the ground (1 point). Players advance the football up the field with a combination of carrying, bouncing, kicking, hand-passing, and soloing (dropping the ball and then toe-kicking the ball upward into the hands). The Kerry Intermediate Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition contested by mid-tier Kerry GAA clubs. Rathmore are the title holders (2022)..
