Jacen Tan is a Singaporean independent film director, and has been named by '' The Straits Times Life!'' as one of Singapore's "most exciting young talents" and “Singapore’s latest film funnyman”. Tan is known for his low budget films, highly localised treatment of Singaporean issues and the liberal use of Singlish in his films. All his film titles consist of commonly spoken Hokkien words. He has directed music videos for popular Singaporean bands Rudra, Lunarin and Documentary in Amber, and has been named by '' The Straits Times Life!'' as one of Singapore's "most exciting young talents". Electrico
Electrico is a pop rock and indie Singaporean band originally formed as Electric Company in Singapore in 1996. This band is still active with the present line-up which includes David Tan, Desmond Goh, William Lim Jr. History 1996–1997: Formation Electric Company was formed when David Tan, Keith Colaco, Desmond Goh and William Lim Jr. got together to entertain for a fun fair at their neighbourhood church. ''Ah Boys to Men'' () is a 2012 Singaporean military comedy film produced and directed by Jack Neo, written by Neo and Link Sng. Benjamin Heng
Benjamin Heng (born 1976) is a Singaporean actor, known for starring in the romantic action film '' Eating Air'', the comedy film '' Lelio Popo'', and in the horror comedy film '' Zombiepura'', as well as in several television series, such as ''Anything Goes'', '' Durian King'' and '' Money No Problem!''. Former National Stadium, Singapore
The former Singapore National Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Kallang, which opened in July 1973 and closed on 30 June 2007. The stadium was demolished from 2010 to 2011 for the development of the Singapore Sports Hub, which houses its successor. During its closure from 2007 to 2014, the National Day Parade (NDP) and sports events were held at the Marina Bay Floating Platform and Jalan Besar Stadium. Tan Pin Pin (, born 1969) is a Singapore-based film director. She is best known for the documentary film ''Singapore GaGa'' (2005). It was the first Singaporean documentary to have a theatrical run.
