Jacek Lachowicz
Jacek Lachowicz (born 15 November 1972 in Gostynin) is a Polish musician, author and producer. He began his musical career playing synthesizer in the alternative rock group Ścianka from 1996 to 2005. He played synthesizer in 2000 in the group Lenny Valentino (along with other members of Ścianka) before the group split in 2001. Currently, he has a solo career as a singer-songwriter under the name "Lachowicz". His songs are associated with alternative music and he made the top of the major Polish music channels with Płyń. Gostynin
Gostynin is a town in central Poland with 19,414 inhabitants (2004). It is situated in the Masovian Voivodship since 1999 and was previously in the Płock Voivodship from 1975 to 1998. It is the capital of Gostynin County. History Gostynin has a long and rich history, which dates back to the early Middle Ages. In the 6th century, a Slavic gord existed north of contemporary town, on a hill located on the left bank of the Skrwa Lewa river, along a merchant trail. In the 12th century, the settlement found itself near the border between the provinces of Mazovia and Kuyavia. In c. 1240, Gostynin was expanded by Duke Konrad I of Masovia, and in the 1280s, Duke Boleslaw II and Duke Konrad II fought over control of the settlement. As a result, in 1286 it was burned by Konrad II. Quickly rebuilt, in 1300 Gostynin was besieged but not captured by forces of Wenceslaus II of Bohemia. Ścianka is a Polish rock band formed in 1994 in Sopot by guitarist Maciej Cieślak. In 1998 Ścianka were signed by independent label Biodro Records and recorded their debut album entitled ''Statek kosmiczny Ścianka'' (''Ścianka the Spaceship''). Lenny Valentino
Lenny Valentino was a dream pop band from Mysłowice, Poland formed in 1998. They disbanded in 2001. Lenny Valentino formed in 1998, with guitarist/vocalist Artur Rojek (of the band Myslovitz) as the primary songwriter. Mietall Waluś (bass), Michał Koterba (guitar), and Wojciech Kuderski (drums) completed the band. The band's name is taken from a song by British group The Auteurs: "Lenny Valentino" appears on the 1994 album ''Now I'm a Cowboy''. Kuderski was replaced on drums by Bartosz Królikowski in 1999. Anna Monika "Ania" Dąbrowska (), usually referred to as Ania (), is a Polish singer, songwriter, and composer performing pop music, born 7 January 1981.
