Jaber Mohammed Sagheer Al-Owaisi ( ar, جابر صغير محمد العويسي; born 4 November 1989), commonly known as Jaber Al-Owaisi, is an Omani footballer who plays for Al-Shabab Club in Oman Professional League. Club career On 30 July 2013, he signed a one-year contract extension with Al-Shabab Club. On 19 August 2014, he again signed a one-year contract extension with Al-Shabab Club. Club career statistics International career Jaber is part of the first team squad of the Oman national football team. He was selected for the national team for the first time in 2011. He made his first appearance for Oman on 20 January 2010 in a friendly match against Sweden. Barka ( ar, بركاء) is a coastal city and province in the region Al Bāţinah, in northern Oman. The Sultan Qaboos Stadium at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex ( ar, مجمع السلطان قابوس الرياضي), also known locally as Boshar ( ar, بوشر), is a government-owned multi-purpose stadium in the Boshar district of Muscat, Oman. The 22nd Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was the 22nd edition of the biennial football competition, and took place between 13 and 26 November 2014 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was scheduled to take place in Basra, Iraq but was shifted after concerns over preparations and security. Iraq was also due to host the 2013 tournament, but this was moved to Bahrain instead.
