Jaan Puidet
Jaan Puidet (born 4 January 1992) is an Estonian professional basketball player for Real Valladolid of the Spanish LEB Oro. He is a tall shooting guard. He also represents the Estonia men's national basketball team internationally. Professional career Estonia Jaan Puidet won the Best Young Player award in 2009. In 2011, he won the Korvpalli Meistriliiga title with Kalev/Cramo. From 2011 to 2015, Puidet played for another Estonian league team, TTÜ. Sweden In 2015 he signed with Jämtland Basket of the Basketligan. Puidet returned to TTÜ in 2018. Spain Despite Puidet started the 2020-2021 season with TalTech team, On 10 December 2020, Puidet accepted the offer from Spanish second division team Real Valladolid and left TalTech Basketball Team. Latvian–Estonian Basketball League
The Latvian-Estonian Basketball League is the highest professional men's club basketball league in Latvia and Estonia; it has been organised since 2018, run by the Latvian Basketball Association and the Estonian Basketball Association. History The league was established in 2018 when the Latvijas Basketbola līga (LBL) and Korvpalli Meistriliiga (KML) merged. In its inaugural season, 15 teams participated in the league. TalTech Basketball
TalTech Basketball is the basketball team of Tallinn University of Technology based in Tallinn, Estonia. The team plays in the Latvian–Estonian Basketball League. Their home arena is the TalTech Sports Hall. The team has won eight Estonian Championships and seven Estonian Cups. History The game of basketball was first introduced to the Tallinn Tehnikum (predecessor of the Tallinn University of Technology) in 1928. The team's first game was played on 4 February 1928, in the NMKÜ Sports Hall, with Tallinn Tehnikum beating the visiting University of Tartu team 21–19. Svenska Basketligan, or the Swedish Basketball League (SBL), is the premier league for professional basketball in Sweden. The league was originally established in 1992 as Basketligan and was known as that prior to the season of 2006–07, but when the Swedish company Obol Investment signed an agreement with the Swedish Basketball Federation in early October 2006, the league was renamed Obol Basketball League (OBL).
