Jaal, a 1973 Pakistani Urdu colour film, is a romantic musical film produced by Waheed Murad and directed by Iftikhar Khan. It was the first colour movie that was produced by Waheed Murad. The film was released on 31 August 1973. It starred Waheed Murad, Nisho, Husna, Shaista Qaiser and Nanna. It was the second film of Waheed Murad with Nisho, first being ''Mulaqat (1973)'' (released during the same year). The film completed its consecutive 25 weeks on cinemas and attained the status of a 'Silver Jubilee film'. Music The music of the film was directed by Nazir Ali. Waheed Murad
Waheed Murad ( ur, ; 2 October 1938 – 23 November 1983), also known as Chocolate Hero, was a Pakistani film actor, producer and script writer. Nisho
Bilquis Khanum, also known as Nisho (Urdu; نشو۔; born 1954) is a Pakistani film actress. Early life Bilquis Begum was born on 1954 in Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan. She completed her studies from University of Punjab. Career In the beginning, ''Nisho'' did theatre at school. She made her big screen debut in the film ''Baazi'' in 1970. She moved to Karachi, she worked in Lollywood movies. She appeared in films ''Rangeela'', ''Tiger Gang'', ''Roop Behroop'', ''Bazigar'', ''Yaar Des Punjab Day'', ''Yeh Aman''. Husna
Husna was a Pakistani actress in the late 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. She was first introduced as a child star in film ''Jan-e-Bahar'' (1958) and played the daughter of Sudhir and Musarrat Nazir. She appeared in such films as ''Changez Khan'' (1958) and ''Ajab Khan'' (1961). She never became a top heroine and mainly played the side-heroine or vamp roles in Urdu and Punjabi films during her long career. Then came her big breakthrough in the block buster film ''Ajab Khan'' (1961), starring again opposite Sudhir. She appeared in ''Rani Khan'' (1960) and ''Dosti'' (1971), among other musical films.
