Ja Song-nam
Ja Song-nam ( ko, 자성남, born 28 March 1954) is a North Korean diplomat. Ja was North Korea's Permanent Representative to the United Nations between February 2014 and 2018. Between 2006 and 2011, he served as North Korean Ambassador to the United Kingdom. Early life and career Ja Song-nam was born on 28 March 1954. Ja graduated from the Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies in 1983. He then served as the Director-General of the Department for National Reunification Affairs and Director of the Institute for Disarmament and Peace of the Foreign Ministry of North Korea from 2005 to 2006. He was a Senior Researcher in the Ministry from 2004 to 2005. He was a Counsellor at his country's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York from 2000 to 2004. Between 2006 and 2011, he served as North Korean Ambassador to the United Kingdom. Ri Yong-ho (diplomat)
Ri Yong-ho (; ; born 10 July 1956) was a North Korean politician and diplomat who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Korea from 2016 to 2020. He was reportedly executed in 2022. Ri was known as a skillful negotiator with experience in negotiating with the United States on the North Korean nuclear program. In particular, he had headed North Korea's negotiators at the six-party talks. His diplomatic career spanned more than 30 years, including posts in various embassies. Ri was the ambassador to the United Kingdom between 2003 and 2007. Ri was a full member of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and its Politburo, and was a deputy to the 14th Supreme People's Assembly. The Permanent Mission of North Korea to the United Nations (officially Permanent Mission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the United Nations) is the diplomatic mission of North Korea to the United Nations (UN) in New York. After North Korea became a member of the World Health Organization, it was entitled to observer status in the UN and thus could establish a permanent mission. South Pyongan Province (Phyŏngannamdo; ) is a province of North Korea. The province was formed in 1896 from the southern half of the former Pyongan Province, remained a province of Korea until 1945, then became a province of North Korea. Its capital is Pyongsong. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea ( ko, 조선민주주의인민공화국 외무성) is the government ministry of North Korea, responsible for conducting foreign relations of the country. The Minister of Foreign Affairs is in charge of the ministry. In addition to the foreign minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a First Vice Minister and seven other vice ministers. The current First Vice Minister is Kim Kye-gwan. The other vice ministers include Choe Son-hui, Han Song-ryol, and Choe Hui-chol.
