Ja'afar Tuqan
Ja'afar Tuqan ( ar, جعفر طوقان) (also spelled ''Jafar Tukan''; (19 January 1938 – 25 November 2014) was a Palestinian-Jordanian architect. Early life Ja'afar Tuqan was born in 1938 in Jerusalem, Israel. He was the son of the Palestinian poet Ibrahim Tuqan, writer of the poem ''Mawtini'', the current national anthem of Iraq. He was also the nephew of both the Jordanian Prime Minister Ahmad Toukan and the Palestinian poet Fadwa Tuqan and thus a member of the Tuqan family. Tuqan graduated from the American University of Beirut in 1960. He worked upon graduating from AUB at the Jordanian Ministry of Public Works as a design architect, and then joined the firm Dar al-Handasah Consulting Engineers at their head offices in Beirut. The Jordan Museum
The Jordan Museum is located in Ras Al-Ein district of Amman, Jordan. Built in 2014, the museum is the largest museum in Jordan and hosts the country's most important archaeological findings. Its two main permanent exhibitions are the Dead Sea Scrolls, including the Copper Scroll, and the 9000-year-old ʿAin Ghazal statues, which are among the oldest human statues ever made. The museum presents artifacts from various prehistoric archaeological sites in Jordan. The collections in the museum are arranged in chronological order and also features lecture halls, outdoor exhibitions, a library, a conservation centre and an area for children's activities. The museum was established by a committee headed by Queen Rania, which became the only museum in Jordan to implement modern artifact-preserving technologies. Jordan Gate Towers (Arabic: أبراج بوابة الأردن), also known informally as 6th Circle Towers (Arabic: أبراج الدوار السادس), are a high class commercial and residential project currently under construction in Amman, Jordan, it consists of two high-rise buildings connected by a multi-storey podium.
