Joshua Adams, professionally known as J Beatzz, is an American hip hop record producer. He produced American rapper Travis Scott's album '' Astroworld'', which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2019 for Best Rap Album. Early life Joshua Adams was born in Hartford, Connecticut, United States, and raised in New London, Connecticut. In 2006, he graduated from Full Sail University where he studied audio engineering. After graduation, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he began working with Big Boi of Outkast at Stankonia Studios. The Grammy Award for Best Rap Album is an award presented to recording artists for quality albums with rapping at the Grammy Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1958 and originally called the Gramophone Awards.
