Inter-Régions Division (also known as ''Ligue Inter-Régions de football'') is the third-highest division overall in the Algerian football league system. The division has six groups based on the region of the country, which are East, West and Centre-East, Centre-West, South-east and South-west each containing 16 teams from their respective regions. The 2023–24 Algerian Ligue 2 is the 60th season of the Algerian Ligue 2 since its establishment. The competition is organized by the Ligue Nationale du Football Amateur and consists of two groups of 16. It began on 29 September 2023 and will conclude on 1 June 2024. Teams RC Arbaâ and HB Chelghoum Laïd were relegated from Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1. Abadla
Abadla ( ar, العبادلة) is a town and commune in western Algeria, and capital of Abadla District, Béchar Province. It is located on the Oued Guir southwest of Béchar. According to the 2008 census its population is 13,636, up from 10,845 in 1998, and an annual growth rate of 2.4%, making it the most populated commune in Béchar Province apart from the capital. The commune covers an area of . It is a major centre for the Arab Doui-Menia tribe. Geography Abadla's location on the Oued Guir allows the growing of grain, facilitated in recent decades by the Djorf Torba dam located upstream. The Algerian Ligue 2, also called Ligue 2 , formerly known as Ligue Professionnelle 2 and Championnat National 2, is the second highest division overall in the Algerian football league system. It was professional from 2010 to 2020. History The league was created in 1962, when Algeria became an independent nation, and has been played in a number of different formats. In 2010, the league became fully professional.
