''JPN'' is the third studio album (fourth overall) by Japanese girl group Perfume, released on November 30, 2011, by Tokuma Japan Communications, nearly two and a half years after their second studio album ''Triangle''. The album sold a total of 268,414 after two weeks of release, making it the 24th best-selling album of 2011 according to Oricon. ''JPN'' is the group's last release under Tokuma Japan Communications as the group moved to Universal Music Japan (as announced February 28, 2012) for their future releases. ''JPN'' was released worldwide on March 6, 2012, to over 50 countries via iTunes. Background The album was announced at Perfume's official website on September 5, 2011, along with a dance contest, their nineteenth single "Spice" and their third nationwide arena tour "Perfume Third Tour: JPN" starting in January 2012. Perfume (Japanese Band)
is a Japanese pop girl group from Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, consisting of Ayano Omoto ("Nocchi"), Yuka Kashino ("KASHIYUKA") and Ayaka Nishiwaki ("a-chan"). The group has been signed with Amuse, Inc. since 2003 and with Universal Music Group since 2012. The group was formed in early 2000 inside the young talent academy Actor's School Hiroshima and debuted with their first Hiroshima-local single "Omajinai Perori" released on March 21, 2002. A year later they moved to Tokyo, started to work with Capsule's producer Yasutaka Nakata, and released their first nationwide indie single, "Sweet Donuts" on August 6, 2003. In 2005, they made a major contract deal with Tokuma Japan Communications and released their major debut single "Linear Motor Girl" on September 21. ''Love the World'' (in some countries ''Perfume Global Compilation "Love the World"'') is the second compilation album by the Japanese trio Perfume. It was released on September 12, 2012 in Japan under their old label Tokuma Japan Communications, in two editions: CD+DVD and in a regular CD edition. All its songs were produced by Yasutaka Nakata, and the album was released in Asia on October 15, 2012 and also worldwide. The digital release of the album was on September 12, 2012 via iTunes worldwide, except for Asia. Background The album was announced on the Perfume website on August 5, 2012. is a publisher in Japan, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo. The company was established in 1954 by Yasuyoshi Tokuma in Minato, Tokyo.
