JK Brackens GAA Club
JK Brackens is a Gaelic Athletic Association club serving the parish of Templemore, Clonmore and Killea in County Tipperary, Ireland. JK Brackens compete in the county Tipperary GAA and Mid-Tipperary divisional competitions and is one of only two clubs in Tipperary that consistently complete at senior level in both the hurling and gaelic football. The club is also nationally renowned as one of the country's leading GAA Scór clubs. Currently, the club fields 21 teams from under 6 up to senior grades and has approximately 250 playing members. The club is named after Joseph Kevin Bracken, "the radical stonemason from Templemore", who was one of the seven founding members of the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1884. Séamus Ó Riain Cup
The Tipperary Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship, formerly Séamus Ó Riain Cup, (known for sponsorship reasons as the FBD Insurance Tipperary Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 2017 for the second tier hurling teams in the county of Tipperary in Ireland. The series of games are played during the spring, summer and autumn months with the cup final currently being played at Semple Stadium in October. It is sometimes played as the curtain-raiser to the senior final. The prize for the winning team is the Séamus Ó Riain Cup. The cup begins with a group stage and is followed by a knock-out stage. Colin O'Riordan
Colin O'Riordan (born 12 October 1995) is an Irish former professional Australian rules footballer for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). Before leaving Ireland O'Riordan played Gaelic football as a midfielder for the Tipperary senior team. Early life Born in Templemore, County Tipperary, O'Riordan first played competitive Gaelic games during his schooling at Our Lady's Secondary School. Kevin Mulryan
Kieran Mulryan (born 1981) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a midfielder for the Tipperary senior team. Born in Templemore, County Tipperary, Mulryan first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minors teams as a dual player before later joining the under-21 sides. He made his senior debut during the 2001 championship. Mulryan immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won one Tommy Murphy Cup medal. At club level Mulryan plays both Gaelic football and hurling with J. K. Bracken's. Mulryan retired from inter-county football on 30 December 2010. In retirement from playing Mulryan became involved in team management and coaching. He has served as a selector with the Tipperary minor team. Éamonn Corcoran
Éamonn Corcoran (born 17 October 1977 in Templemore, County Tipperary) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club J.K. Bracken's GAC. He was a member of the Tipperary GAA senior inter-county team from 1999 until 2008. Early life Éamonn Corcoran was born in Templemore, County Tipperary in 1977 . Shane Bourke (born 9 November 1988) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club J.K. Bracken's and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team. Career Bourke won an All-Ireland Minor Hurling medal with Tipperary in 2006, and played Under 21 Hurling with Tipperary in 2008 and 2009, winning a Munster Under 21 winners medal in 2008. He made his senior Tipperary debut in the fourth round of the league on 13 March 2011 against Offaly in a 1-20 to 0-10 win, coming on in the fifth minute as a substitute for the injured Eoin Kelly and scoring three points. Tipperary Intermediate Football Championship
The Tipperary Intermediate Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised since 1974 by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association for the second-tier Gaelic football clubs in County Tipperary in Ireland. The series of games are played during the summer and autumn months with the county final usually being played in October. The championship has been played on a regional basis, whereby the respective champions from the Mid, North, South and West championships contested the county series of games. Now it is an all County 4 Group stage followed by knock out. The winning Club will receive the Barrett Cup. The Tipperary County Championship is an integral part of the wider Munster Intermediate Club Football Championship.
