JJ Marsh
Joakim "JJ" Marsh, born in 1966 is a Swedish guitarist and composer, and is probably best known for his long collaboration with Glenn Hughes. As a teenager Marsh recorded two albums with Spellbound, ''Breaking the Spell'' and ''Rockin 'Reckless''. The band also recorded material for a third album, for which Marsh wrote the songs together with the singer Hasse Fröberg, but they didn't manage to get a record deal and the album wasn't released until some ten years later. Spellbound disbanded in 1988, but they have done a few reunion concerts since that, as late as 2014. In the early 1990s he formed the band Studfarm with singer Janne Hellman. In 1995, Marsh met Glenn Hughes and began a partnership in which Marsh during the period 1996-2008 co-wrote most of the songs on ten studio albums, apart from Hughes' solo albums also two albums with Joe Lynn Turner in the Hughes Turner Project, abbreviated HTP. Glenn Hughes (British Musician)
Glenn Hughes (born 21 August 1951) is an English bassist and singer, best known for playing bass and performing vocals in funk rock band Trapeze and in the Mk. III and IV line-ups of Deep Purple, as well as briefly fronting Black Sabbath in the mid-1980s. He is known by fans as "The Voice of Rock" due to his soulful and wide-ranging singing voice. In addition to being an active session musician, Hughes also maintains a notable solo career. He currently fronts the supergroups Black Country Communion and The Dead Daisies, and fronted California Breed from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, Hughes was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Deep Purple. Early life Hughes was born in Cannock, Staffordshire, England, on 21 August 1951. ''HTP 2'' is the second album by the Hughes Turner Project, a collaboration between Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, etc.) and Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc.); it was released in 2003 on MTM Music and Pony Canyon Records. It was his eleventh solo studio album and was released in 2006 on Frontier, Demolition, Sony BMG and Yamaha records. A freak is a person who is physically deformed or transformed due to an extraordinary medical condition or body modification. This definition was first attested with this meaning in the 1880s as a shorter form of the phrase "freak of nature", itself a broader term meaning " whimsy or caprice of nature", attributed at least as far back as 1847. The term's original neutral connotation became entirely negative during the 20th century; therefore, ''freak'' with its literal meaning of "abnormally developed individual" is viewed purely as a pejorative today.
