JG Motorsports
JG Motorsports was a NASCAR Busch Series race team co-owned by Jeff Gordon and Rick Hendrick, which attempted 20 races in the year 2000. The team evolved from Gordon–Evernham Motorsports, which ran six races in the Busch Series in 1999. History Gordon–Evernham Motorsports (1999) In 1999, Brooke Gordon (then wife of Jeff Gordon) and Ray Evernham formed Gordon/Evernham Motorsports (GEM) to compete in that year's Busch Series season. The team's Pepsi-sponsored cars ran six races with Jeff Gordon as driver and Evernham as crew chief. DuPont sponsored the No. 24 car in two races in 1999 with driver Ricky Hendrick, with Evernham and Patrick Donahue as crew chiefs. During the season, Gordon won the Outback Steakhouse 200, the inaugural Busch Series race at Phoenix International Raceway. Jeff Gordon
Jeffery Michael Gordon (born August 4, 1971) is an American former professional stock car racing driver, who is the Vice Chairman for Hendrick Motorsports. He raced full-time from 1993 to 2015, driving the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the former NASCAR Winston Cup Series and Sprint Cup Series (now called NASCAR Cup Series), and also served as a substitute driver for Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the No. 88 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in select races during the 2016 season. Stock car racing events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series has been held at the Homestead–Miami Speedway since the track's inauguration in 1995. For much of its history, it was the final race of the second-tier series' season. The Cabo Wabo Tequila 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race that takes place at Michigan International Speedway. It is held on the same weekend as the track's NASCAR Cup Series race, the FireKeepers Casino 400. The Myrtle Beach 250 was a NASCAR Busch Series stock car race held at Myrtle Beach Speedway, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The SRS Distribution 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race that has taken place each spring at Texas Motor Speedway since 1997. Since 2005, this has been one of two races for the series at the track, the other being the Andy's Frozen Custard 300 in the fall. In 2011, the race became a Friday night race after being held on Saturday afternoon since 1997. In 2017, the race returned to being on a Saturday afternoon and My Bariatric Solutions, a part of Wise Health System, became the title sponsor of the race.
