JD Davis
David Henrard (born 13 April 1973), also known by his stage name JD Davis and Dave Davis, is a Belgian musician. He started his career in music at the age of 17 when he moved to Antwerp to work at Bonzai Records. His early releases, starting with "Transfiguration" around 1995 were under the name Dave Davis while signed to Bonzai Records. Other early aliases include Les Sabotages, Phrenetic System and Davis & Santini. He has since performed at clubs and festivals worldwide such as Mayday, Love Parade, Street Parade & Energy (Zurich), Gay Pride (Paris), Francofolies De Spa (Belgium) including a residency at Cherry Moon (Belgium). Around 2004 saw the release of David Guetta's album titled ''Guetta Blaster'' in which JD Davis co-wrote, co-composed and sang on the singles "The World Is Mine" and "In Love with Myself". Skint Records
Skint Records is a Brighton and Hove based dance music record label owned by JC Reid, Tim Jeffery and Damian Harris. It was created as a sublabel of Loaded Records, also founded by Reid and Jeffery. Along with Wall of Sound, the label was a leader in the big beat music scene of the mid to late 1990s. The label's roster at this time included big beat scene leaders Fatboy Slim, Hardknox, Indian Ropeman, Freq Nasty and X-Press 2. Towards the end of the 1990s and at the start of the 21st century the label expanded its range of releases to include more house based songs. The most prominent example was " Lazy" by X-Press 2, which charted at number 2 in the UK Singles Chart. There were also releases by electronic music artist Dave Clarke as well as artists as diverse as Lucky Jim, Freq Nasty, FC Kahuna, Bentley Rhythm Ace, REQ and Ralfe Band. "The World Is Mine" is a song by France, French Disc jockey, DJ David Guetta, featuring vocals from singer JD Davis. The track was released as the third single from Guetta's second studio album, ''Guetta Blaster'' on 22 November 2004. Three years later, in 2007, the track was released as a single in the United States as the follow-up to "Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)", along with the ''Guetta Blaster'' album. The background samples Someone Somewhere In Summertime by Simple Minds in 1982. Morcheeba
Morcheeba is an English electronic band formed in the mid-1990s with founding members vocalist Skye Edwards and the brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey. They mix influences from trip hop, rock music, rock, folk rock and downtempo, and have produced ten regular studio albums since 1995, two of which reached the UK top ten. Edwards left the band in 2003, after which the brothers used a number of singers before she rejoined in 2009. They recruit additional members for their live performances and have toured internationally. In 2014 Paul Godfrey resigned from the band. Edwards and Ross Godfrey later formed Skye & Ross and released a self-titled album in September 2016. Skye Edwards (born Shirley Klaris Yonavieve Edwards; 27 May 1974), sometimes simply Skye, is a British singer-songwriter. Her career began in 1994 when she and the Godfrey brothers (Paul Godfrey, a DJ, and Ross Godfrey, a multi-instrumentalist) formed the band Morcheeba, which released five albums with Skye as lead vocalist. In 2003, the band split, after which Skye released two solo albums: '' Mind How You Go'' in 2006, and ''Keeping Secrets'' in 2009. In 2010, Edwards returned to Morcheeba, again as lead vocalist. In 2012, she released her third solo album, ''Back to Now'', while in 2015 she released her fourth one, ''In A Low Light''. Chab is the stage name used by Swiss trance music producer and remixer François Chabloz. Known for his progressive trance style, Chabloz has an extensive history as a remixer and he has also released original material under the monikers Moogwai and Star. Artists remixed by Chab include Gorillaz, Depeche Mode, Röyksopp, Ayumi Hamasaki, Nelly Furtado, and Every Little Thing.
