JC Pretorius
Johannes Christoffel Pretorius (born ) is a South African rugby sevens player for the South Africa national team and a rugby union player for the Emirates Lions in the United Rugby Championship and the Currie Cup. His regular position is flanker. Biography Pretorius represented the at the 2015 and 2016 Craven Week tournaments — culminating in a call-up to the South Africa Schools squad for the Under-19 International Series in August 2016 — before moving to Pretoria to join the . He was named in the ' wider training squad prior to the 2019 Super Rugby season, but was also included in the South Africa national sevens squad prior to the 2018–19 World Rugby Sevens Series. In January 2019, Pretorius was named the Blitzboks' travelling reserve for the Hamilton Sevens, and a week later, he was included in the main squad for the Sydney event. Secunda, Mpumalanga
Secunda (from Latin: second, secund, secundi meaning second/following) is a town built amidst the coalfields of the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. It was named for being the second Sasol extraction refinery producing oil from coal, after Sasolburg, some to the west. History Early history During 1974, Sasol (Transvaal) Townships Limited, a subsidiary company of Sasol Limited, was instructed to establish and develop Secunda. After the site for the Sasol complex had been identified, it had to be decided whether or not to combine the existing towns of Evander and Trichardt. The huge burden that extensions of this nature would have had on the financial and administrative resources of the established communities as well as the tempo at which such development should proceed was decisive and resulted in the decision to develop Trichardt and Secunda to be one town, named Secunda. 2019 New Zealand Sevens
The 2019 New Zealand Sevens was the third tournament within the 2018–19 World Rugby Sevens Series and the twentieth edition of the New Zealand Sevens. It was held on 26–27 January 2019 at FMG Stadium Waikato, Hamilton. An invitational competition for women's teams, the Women's Fast Four, was held alongside the men's tournament as the precursor to fully integrated men's and women's tournaments planned for Hamilton in 2020. Format The teams are drawn into four pools of four teams each. Each team plays every other team in their pool once.
