JAG (season 8)
The eighth season of '' JAG'' premiered on CBS on September 24, 2002, and concluded on May 20, 2003. The season, starring David James Elliott and Catherine Bell, was produced by Belisarius Productions in association with Paramount Television. The two episodes, "Ice Queen" and "Meltdown" also introduced the team who later appeared in the spin-off series '' NCIS'' which became a franchise in its own right. Grumman F-14 Tomcat
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is an American carrier-capable supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, twin-tail, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft. The Tomcat was developed for the United States Navy's Naval Fighter Experimental (VFX) program after the collapse of the General Dynamics-Grumman F-111B project. The F-14 was the first of the American Teen Series fighters, which were designed incorporating air combat experience against MiG fighters during the Vietnam War. The F-14 first flew on 21 December 1970 and made its first deployment in 1974 with the U.S. Navy aboard , replacing the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. Harriet Sims
Lieutenant Harriet Beaumont Sims-Roberts, USN (played by Karri Turner) is a fictional character in the '' JAG'' TV series. She made her first appearance in Season 2. Background Sims comes from a Southern "old money" family and faced some prejudice when she joined the Navy. Karri Kathleen Turner (born December 21, 1966) is an American television actress who is best known for playing Lieutenant Harriet Sims in the television series '' JAG'' (1997–2005). ''First Monday'' is an American legal drama television series which aired on CBS during the midseason replacement from January 15 to May 3, 2002. The series centered on the U.S. Supreme Court. Like another 2002 series, '' The Court'', it was inspired by the prominent role the Supreme Court played in settling the 2000 presidential election.
