J.R. Bourne
David Bourne (born April 8, 1970), known professionally as JR Bourne, is a Canadian actor. He portrayed Chris Argent on all six seasons of the MTV supernatural drama series ''Teen Wolf'' (2011–2017) and was part of the main cast in the final season. Bourne has also appeared as a series regular on the ABC mystery drama '' Somewhere Between'' (2017) and The CW science fiction drama ''The 100'' (2019–2020). Other notable television roles include Martouf / Lantash on the Showtime science fiction adventure ''Stargate SG-1'' (1998–2000), CIA Agent Edwards on the Fox science fiction drama ''Fringe'' (2009–2011), and Kenny Ryan on the ABC drama ''Revenge'' (2012–2013). ''On the Corner'' is a Canadian drama film, directed by Nathaniel Geary released in 2003. Set in the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, the film stars Alex Rice and Simon Baker as Angel and Randy Henry, a brother and sister struggling with poverty and drug addiction. The film premiered at the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival. Production The film's cast also includes JR Bourne, Robert Harper, Katharine Isabelle, Brent Stait, Gordon Tootoosis, Margo Kane and Tina Keeper. Geary based the film's screenplay in part on his own experiences as a social worker helping sex workers and people who use drugs in the neighbourhood. ''The Favourite Game'' is the first novel by Leonard Cohen. It was first published by Secker and Warburg in the fall of 1963. In 1959, Cohen was awarded a $2,000 Canada Council grant, which he used to live cheaply in London and on the Greek island of Hydra while he wrote the novel, then titled ''Beauty at Close Quarters''. When he returned to Canada in 1960, it was rejected by his publisher, McClelland & Stewart. Jack McClelland was concerned about the autobiographical content and found the novel to be tedious and preoccupied with sex. He suggested major revisions, without guaranteeing publication once those revisions were made. Cohen placed the book with publishers in England and America who requested a shorter length, so he cut the book in half. He wrote, "anyone with an ear will know I've torn apart orchestras to arrive at my straight, melodic line."
