J.B. Williamson
James Bennett Williamson (born December 18, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana) is a retired American Professional boxing, professional boxer who held the World Boxing Council, WBC light heavyweight title in 1985. Professional career Williamson turned pro in 1979 after a successful amateur career and won the Vacant WBC Light Heavyweight Title in 1985 in a decision over Prince Mama Mohammed. He lost the title in his first defense against Dennis Andries. Although he never challenged again for another major title, he moved up to heavyweight and became a journeyman fighter, fighting until 1995, losing matches against notable heavyweights Henry Akinwande, Peter McNeeley, Jimmy Thunder, and George Foreman. Michael Spinks
Michael Spinks (born July 13, 1956) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1977 to 1988. He held world championships in two weight classes, including the undisputed light heavyweight title from 1983 to 1985, and the lineal heavyweight title from 1985 to 1988. As an amateur he won a gold medal in the middleweight division at the 1976 Summer Olympics. Nicknamed "Jinx", which spawned the nickname of his straight right hand, "The Spinks Jinx", Spinks is the brother of former world heavyweight champion Leon Spinks, and uncle of Cory Spinks, a former welterweight and light middleweight champion. Virgil Hill
Virgil Eugene Hill (born January 18, 1964) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 2007, and in 2015. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the WBA light heavyweight title twice, from 1987 to 1997; the IBF and lineal light heavyweight titles from 1996 to 1997; and the WBA cruiserweight title twice, from 2000 to 2002 and 2006 to 2007. As an amateur, Hill won a silver medal in the middleweight division at the 1984 Summer Olympics. In 2013, he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Leslie Stewart
Leslie Matthew Stewart (born 21 March 1961) is a retired Trinidadian boxer. A former world champion and two-time world title challenger, Stewart held the WBA light heavyweight title in 1987. Professional career Known as "Laventille Tiger", Stewart turned professional in 1982 and challenged for the vacant WBA Light Heavyweight Title in 1986, but was TKO'd by Marvin Johnson when the bout was stopped on cuts. In the rematch the following year, Stewart dominated Johnson, and Johnson's corner retired the fighter in the ninth round. Stewart lost the belt in his first defense to Virgil Hill. In 1988 he challenged WBC Light Heavyweight Title holder Donny Lalonde, but lost via TKO. In 1989 he took on WBO Light Heavyweight Title holder Michael Moorer, but again lost via TKO. Jeff Stoudemire (born September 24, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American former professional boxer. Amateur career Stoudemire was a standout as an amateur, becoming the 1978 National Golden Gloves Welterweight champion and 1979 National AAU Light middleweight champion. Professional career Nicknamed ''SHOWTIME'', Stoudemire was well on his way to becoming a championship contender, before suddenly retiring. He turned pro in 1980 and lost his first bout to Mike Sacchetti.Saccehtti went on to fight four world champions. After going three years undefeated, he lost his second bout in 1983, the year his first and only son JaJa Stoudemire was born. Clinton Jackson
Clinton Jackson (born May 20, 1954) is an American former professional boxer. As an amateur, he competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics. He also won a silver medal at the 1974 World Championships and a gold at the 1975 Pan American Games. Biography Born in Evergreen, Alabama, Jackson was an all-around athlete who played football and basketball in high school. He began boxing in 1970 when he walked into a gym in Pensacola, Florida. He lost to Emilio Correa in the gold medal match at the 1974 World Championships, but then defeated him en route to a gold medal at the 1975 Pan American Games. He turned professional in 1979 but never achieved the results that he had as an amateur.
