''Izvorne i novokomponovane narodne pesme'' is the seventeenth studio album by pop-folk singer Lepa Brena. It was released 11 December 2013 through the record label Grand Production. The record was primarily produced by Dragan Stojković Bosanac. Fahreta Živojinović (; ; born 20 October 1960), known by her stage name Lepa Brena (), is a folk singer, actress, and businesswoman. She is the best-selling female recording artist from the former Yugoslavia. Lepa Brena grew up in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has lived in Belgrade, Serbia since 1980, where she started her career. Lepa Brena is considered to be a symbol of the former Yugoslavia, due to the fact that she was one of the last popular acts to emerge before the breakup of the country. She has described herself as being " Yugo-nostalgic". Along with her husband, Slobodan Živojinović and friend, Saša Popović, Brena co-founded and co-owned Grand Production, the biggest record label and production company in the Balkans. A ''Ah, što ćemo ljubav kriti'' '' Aj, kolika je Jahorina planina'' E ''Emina'' ''Emina'' was originally a poem written by Bosnian Serb poet Aleksa Šantić, being first published in 1902. It became a popular sevdalinka covered by many artists from the former Yugoslav republics over the course of the 20th century. The subject of the song is Šantić's teenage neighbor, a Bosniak girl named Emina Sefić. It is one of the most well-known sevdalinka songs of all time. Predrag Živković ( sr-Cyrl, Предраг Живковић; 22 January 19366 April 2021), nicknamed Tozovac ( sr-Cyrl, Тозовац) was one of the most famous Serbian folk singers and composers. He was also an accomplished accordion player and entertainer who appeared in movies and hosted several music TV shows. He died on 6 April 2021, because of difficulties with COVID-19. Early life Tozovac was born in Kraljevo, Kingdom of Yugoslavia on 22 January 1936. Dragiša Nedović ( sr-cyr, Драгиша Недовић; Kragujevac, Kingdom of Serbia, 20 July 1916 – 31 January 1966) was a Serbian folk songwriter, composer and musician. Having lived in Serbia, Bosnia and Dalmatia, he composed numerous tunes in Serbian folk (" Stani, stani Ibar vodo"), Bosnian Sevdalinka (" U lijepom starom gradu Višegradu") and Dalmatian (" Kad si bila mala, Mare") popular styles. He composed several hundred songs, and many of them remain popular standards to this day, although Nedović's authorship is not universally known. Branimir Đokić ( Serbian Cyrillic: Бранимир Ђокић) (born 6 February 1950) is a Serbian folk accordionist. He has had his own ensemble band since the early 1970s and has also been known to have played for some major artists: Šaban Šaulić, Mitar Mirić, Šerif Konjević, Kemal Malovčić, Zorica Brunclik and others. Đokić attended the high music school "Stanković" in Belgrade. He presented himself to the audience as outstanding instrumentalist on accordion, winning the first prize at the traditional competition in Sokobanja, 1964. By the next year, Branimir became one of the best known instrumental soloists on accordion in the former Yugoslavia. Kraljevo ( sr-cyr, Краљево, ) is a city and the administrative center of the Raška District in central Serbia. It is situated on the confluence of West Morava and Ibar, in the geographical region of Šumadija, between the mountains of Kotlenik in the north, and Stolovi in the south.
