Iyiola Omisore
Iyiola Ajani Omisore (born 15 September 1957) is a Nigerian businessman, engineer, and politician who served as Deputy Governor of Osun State from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, he served as a member of the Nigerian Senate for Osun East from 2003 to 2011. He is the current National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress. Background Iyiola Omisore was born 15 September 1957, into a royal family of Ile-Ife, where he was also raised. He is the son of Oba David Olajide Omisore and the grandson of Lowa Ajani Anibijuwon Omisore, both of Ayepe, Olode. Iyiola is also the grandson of the Late Olufewara Kabiyesi Oba Titus Adetoba of the Oseganderuku ruling house in Ifewara where his mother, Princess Emila Adejola ruled as Regent until her death in 2006. Mojisoluwa O Akinfenwa (1930 – 10 October 2019) was a Nigerian politician who was elected Senator for the Osun East constituency of Osun State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic, running on the Alliance for Democracy (AD) platform. He took office on 29 May 1999. Upon his arrival at the Senate in June 1999, he was appointed to committees on Selection, Senate Services, Solid Minerals, Banking & Currency and Education. Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola (born 25 May 1957) is a Nigerian politician who is the current Minister of the Federal Ministry of Interior of Nigeria. Before that, he served as the fourth civilian governor of Osun State. He is a native of Ilesa in Osun State.
