Ivan Dychko
Ivan Fyodorovich Dychko (; born 11 August 1990) is a Kazakhstani professional boxer. As an amateur he won bronze medals at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. Amateur career At the 2008 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships Dychko defeated American cruiserweight Contender Nick Kisner in the quarterfinals 5–1. Then went on to lose 8:10 to Erislandy Savón, in the final match to earn a silver medal. He moved up to super heavyweight a year later, winning his first of three national championships at the weight. At the 2009 World Amateur Boxing Championships, he was eliminated after losing his second bout 11:15 to Denis Sergeev. At the 2010 Asian Games, Dycho defeated Iranian Rouhollah Hosseini 6:4 in the semifinal but lost the final 5:7 to local favorite Zhang Zhilei. Erislandy Savón
Erislandy Savón Cotilla (born July 21, 1990) is a Cuban heavyweight amateur boxer. He won the 91 kg/201 lbs title at the 2008 Youth World Amateur Boxing Championships, the 2009 Pan American Championships at Super Heavyweight and also the AIBA World Boxing Championships 2015 and 2017 in Heavyweight. Career Savón who hails from Guantánamo is a nephew of Félix Savón and also a big puncher. He won the Youth World Championships 2008. Nicholas Ryan Kisner (born January 17, 1991) is an American professional boxer. He is currently signed to Jeter promotions. Personal life Kisner was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He is of Bavarian/ Scottish descent on his father's side and Irish/ Chechen descent on his mother's side. He grew up in South Baltimore and Northern Anne Arundel County. The 2008 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships were held in Guadalajara, Mexico, from October 31 to November 1, 2008. It was the first edition of the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships which had taken over from the Junior World Championship. The competition is under the supervision of the world's governing body for amateur boxing AIBA and is the junior version of the World Amateur Boxing Championships. Amateur Boxing
Amateur boxing is a variant of boxing practiced at the collegiate level, at the Olympic Games, Pan American Games and Commonwealth Games, as well as many associations. Amateur boxing bouts are short in duration, comprising three rounds of three minutes in men, and four rounds of two minutes in women, each with a one-minute interval between rounds. Men's senior bouts changed in format from four two-minute rounds to three three-minute rounds on January 1, 2009. This type of competition prizes point-scoring blows, based on number of clean punches landed, rather than physical power. Also, this short format allows tournaments to feature several bouts over several days, unlike professional boxing, where fighters rest several months between bouts. Professional Boxer
Professional boxing, or prizefighting, is regulated, sanctioned boxing. Professional boxing bouts are fought for a purse that is divided between the boxers as determined by contract. Most professional bouts are supervised by a regulatory authority to guarantee the fighters' safety.
