It Takes A Man And A Woman
''It Takes a Man and a Woman'' is a 2013 Filipino romantic comedy film directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and written by Carmi Raymundo. It is a sequel to two earlier films '' A Very Special Love'' (2008) and '' You Changed My Life'' (2009). John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo reprise their roles as Miggy Montenegro and Laida Magtalas respectively. The film is set two years after their break-up which occurred in a depicted flashback scene following events (not shown) in the preceding film. Released in the Philippines on March 30, 2013, ''It Takes a Man and a Woman'' was a major commercial success. The film grossed PHP 387 million in domestic sales. It is the 2nd highest-grossing film and the highest-grossing Filipino film released in the Philippines in 2013. Catherine Rosales Garcia-Molina (born November 28, 1971) is a Filipino film and television director best known for directing romantic comedy and family drama films produced and distributed by Star Cinema. She has also directed a few TV series, which aired on ABS-CBN, where she is one of the resident directors. Her films have frequently become some of the highest-grossing films in the Philippines. "Ikot-Ikot" () is a 2013 hit song recorded by Filipino singer-actress Sarah Geronimo. Written by Thyro Alfaro, it was produced by Jumbo "Bojam" de Belen and released under Viva Records. The song served as the lead single off Geronimo's 2013 platinum album '' Expressions''. It became available for digital download on July 22, 2013 but before its release date, the song was sent to different radio stations across the Metro Manila on the second week of July. ''Expressions'' is the tenth studio album by Filipino singer Sarah Geronimo, released in the Philippines on July 22, 2013, by Viva Records. The album's release marked Geronimo's 25th birthday and 10th anniversary in the entertainment industry. It consists of nine original songs and two covers and marks the beginning of her creative control. Background and development In June 2013, Viva Records announced that she would be releasing her tenth studio album on July before her birthday.
