B1A4 () is a South Korean boy band formed by WM Entertainment. The group debuted on April 23, 2011 with the single "O.K" from the EP ''Let's Fly'', after being introduced to the public through a webtoon. They have released nine studio albums (four Korean and five Japanese) and seven Extended play, EPs, as well as four compilation albums. The group has had considerable commercial and critical success in both the Korean and Japanese markets. They have also toured in the United States. Shin Dong-woo (, born June 16, 1991), better known by his stage name CNU, is a South Korean singer and actor. He is best known for being a member of the South Korean boy group B1A4. In 2012, he appeared in the KBS sitcom ''Sent from Heaven''. Early life Shin Dong-woo was born on June 16, 1991, in Cheongju, North Chungcheong, South Korea. He studied at Bongmyung High School. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010. History Gaon Chart was launched in February 2010 by the Korea Music Content Association, under the sponsorship of the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the aim to create a domestic national chart similar to the ''Billboard'' charts of the United States and the Oricon charts of Japan. Jung Jin-young (; born November 18, 1991), professionally known as Jinyoung, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He was a member of boy group B1A4, being its former leader. He is currently managed by BB Entertainment. He has also gained recognition with the television series ''Love in the Moonlight'' (2016) and ''Police University (TV series), Police University'' (2021). Duble Sidekick () is a South Korean music producer and songwriting duo consisting of lyricist Park Jang-geun and composer Mikey (also known as Chancellor and formerly a member of One Way). ''Ignition'' is the first full-length album released by B1A4 under WM Entertainment. The album was released on March 14, 2012, by WM Entertainment and their distributing label Pony Canyon Korea. The album spawned two singles: "This Time Is Over" and "Baby I'm Sorry" which is the title track written and composed by the group's leader Jinyoung. A special edition of the album was released on May 24, 2012.
