Israel Swimming Association
The Israel Swimming Association ( he, איגוד השחיה בישראל), founded in 1995, is the major swimming federation in Israel. It brings together all clubs in the country, organizes the Israeli swimming championships as well as the swimming competition of the Maccabiah Games. In December 2016 David Marsh was named the ‘Professional Adviser’ of the Israel Swimming Association, with a goal of preparing the country's swimmers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. In 2017 the association appointed a new head coach, Luka Gabrilo, who is a former international swimmer from Switzerland. Eva Fabian ( he, אווה פביאן; born August 3, 1993) is an American-Israeli open water swimmer. She was the 2010 world champion in the 5-kilometer swim, and won a gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in the women's 10k. Early life Fabian was born in Frederick, Maryland, to Claire (a doctor) and Jack (a professor and swim coach) Fabian. She has an older brother, Max. Her hometown is Keene, New Hampshire, and she was homeschooled. She attended Yale University, majoring in music, and graduated in 2016. She lives in Netanya, Israel. Yuval ( he, יוּבַל), also known as Kfar Yuval ( he, כְּפַר יוּבַל), is a moshav in northern Israel.
