Israel Anti-Drug Authority
Israel National Authority for Community Safety ( he, הרשות הלאומית לביטחון קהילתי) is a governmental law enforcement agency of executive authority responsible for drafting state policy, legal regulation, control and monitoring in combating trafficking drugs, psychotropic substances, and their precursors. History IADA was established after the passage of the Israel Anti-Drug Authority Law at the end of 1988. IADA is a quasi-governmental agency, which operates under the aegis of the Prime Minister. In 2005, the Israeli government extended The Authority's mandate to include the battle on alcohol abuse. In 2009, the Knesset approved a decision granting the Ministry of Public Security responsibility for The Authority. Givat Shaul ( he, גבעת שאול, lit. (''Saul's Hill''); ar, غفعات شاؤول) is a neighborhood in West Jerusalem. Orly Levy-Abekasis ( he, אוֹרְלִי לֵוִי־אַבֵּקָסִיס, born 11 November 1973) is an Israeli politician and former member of the Knesset. Knesset
The Knesset ( he, הַכְּנֶסֶת ; "gathering" or "assembly") is the unicameral legislature of Israel. As the supreme state body, the Knesset is sovereign and thus has complete control of the entirety of the Israeli government (with the exception of checks and balances from the courts and local governments). The Knesset passes all laws, elects the president and prime minister (although the latter is ceremonially appointed by the President), approves the cabinet, and supervises the work of the government, among other things.
