Islamic Marketing
Islamic marketing is a process of attempting to sell a product or service to customers and other stakeholders while keeping this process in accord with the principles of Islamic transaction. This includes maintaining halal for the products or services being marketed. Islamic marketing can be defined as a process of value creation; that is, a process of making a product or service attractive to potential consumers. This is achieved by socially interacting with stakeholders to increase a product’s value, adding symbolic meanings, and improving access to types of Supply chain, supply chains. Value creation can also target the general public or specific communities. Value creation happens at three levels: transactions, multi-level exchanges, marketing-systems. Such value creation must be in accord with the principles of Islamic transaction. ''Halal'' (; ar, حلال, ) is an Arabic word that translates to "permissible" in English. In the Quran, the word ''halal'' is contrasted with ''haram'' (forbidden). This binary opposition was elaborated into a more complex classification known as " the five decisions": mandatory, recommended, neutral, reprehensible and forbidden. Islamic jurists disagree on whether the term ''halal'' covers the first two or the first four of these categories.
