Isa Ibn Talha Al-Taymi
ʿĪsā ibn Ṭalḥa al-Taymī () was a notable of the Quraysh in Medina and is cited as a transmitter of historical reports by early Islamic historians. Family, life and work Isa was a son of Talha ibn Ubaydallah, a prominent companion of Muhammad from the Banu Taym clan of the Quraysh tribe. Isa's mother was Su'da bint Awf ibn Kharija ibn Sinan, a prominent chief of the Banu Murra tribe and noted peacemaker among the tribes of the Ghatafan in north central Arabia in the pre-Islamic period. Isa's family became part of the early Islamic nobility in Medina, which served as the seat of the Muslim state from the 620s until 656 and afterward retained prominence as a religious and cultural center of the Caliphate. Isa was part of a delegation of Medinese notables sent to the Umayyad caliph Mu'awiya I () in Damascus. Quraysh
The Quraysh ( ar, قُرَيْشٌ) were a grouping of Arab clans that historically inhabited and controlled the city of Mecca and its Kaaba. The Islamic prophet Muhammad was born into the Hashim clan of the tribe. Despite this, many of the Quraysh staunchly opposed Muhammad, until converting to Islam ''en masse'' in CE. Abd Al-Malik Ibn Marwan
Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan ibn al-Hakam ( ar, عبد الملك ابن مروان ابن الحكم, ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Marwān ibn al-Ḥakam; July/August 644 or June/July 647 – 9 October 705) was the fifth Umayyad caliph, ruling from April 685 until his death. Sulaymān ibn al-Manṣūr ( ar, سليمان بن المنصور), better known as Sulaymān ibn Abī Jaʿfar ( ar, سليمان بن أبي جعفر), was an Abbasid prince and served as governor of Basra, al-Jazira and Syria during the reign of his nephew, Caliph Harun al-Rashid ().
