''Is'thunzi'' is a 2016 South African teen drama series centered around a group of four girls and their everyday struggles. Its lead actress, Thuso Mbedu, who portrays Winnie, was nominated for two consecutive International Emmy Awards in 2017 and 2018. Makgotso Monyemorathoe (born 5 October 1991) is a South African actress. Thishiwe Ziqubu (born 5 August 1985) is a South African film director, writer and actor. He won Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards for his portrayal of Tshaka in the romantic comedy ''Tell Me Sweet Something''.
