Ireland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Only Love Survives" written by Wez Devine and Ryan Dolan. The song was performed by Ryan Dolan. The Irish broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) organised the national final ''Eurosong 2013'' in order to select the Irish entry for the 2013 contest in Malmö, Sweden. Ryan Dolan
Ryan Dolan (born 22 July 1985) is an Irish pop singer from Strabane in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. He is known for representing Ireland in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with "Only Love Survives". Career 2013–2014: Eurovision Song Contest and ''Frequency'' His song "Only Love Survives" won Ireland's Eurosong 2013 song contest, and Dolan went on to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. Mark McCabe (born 10 May 1978) is an Irish music producer, remixer, radio DJ and club DJ, from Dublin. In 2000, he released "Maniac 2000" and it went to number one, as the second biggest-selling record ever in Ireland. In 2017, McCabe teamed up with the Sunset Bros, to release the record "Im Feelin It", which went on to hit thirty million streams on Spotify. McCabe has mixed the opening sequence for events, such as the Special Olympics in 2003, the 2005 and 2007 Saint Patrick's Festivals Skyfest. Today FM is an Irish national commercial FM radio station, owned and operated by Bauer Audio Ireland Limited. Broadcasting since 17 March 1997, it broadcasts mostly music, with a daily news and current affairs programme. Mairead Ronan (; born 3 April 1980) is an Irish television and radio presenter. Early life Ronan was born in Finglas on the Northside of Dublin. She attended a HR Management course after leaving school, but switched to a media course at Ballyfermot College of Further Education. Radio career Ronan was featured on ''The Ray D'Arcy Show'' that originally aired every weekday morning on Today FM. "Waterline" is a song by Irish pop duo Jedward. It was written by Swedish songwriter Nick Jarl and Swedish-based American songwriter Sharon Vaughn. It is best known as Ireland's entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Background In early 2012, "Waterline" was chosen as the song for Jedward in their bid to represent Ireland at Eurovision 2012.
