Iowa Raptors FC
Iowa Raptors FC are a Association football, soccer club based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. They were established in 2019 as a men's team, and formed their women's team in 2021. Their men's team compete in the Midwest Division of United Premier Soccer League and in the Midwest Premier League. They began play in the 2021 UPSL season playing at Prairie High School (Iowa), Prairie High School's stadium. They had initially been set to join USL League Two for 2021, before switching to the UPSL. The men's team won the 2020 Heartland Super Cup. Iowa Raptors FC also has a women's team, competing in the Women's Premier Soccer League since the 2022 season. Beginning in the fall of 2022, Iowa Raptors FC will have an indoor team that will compete as members of the Major Arena Soccer League 2. Roster Women's References

Prairie High School (Iowa)
Prairie High School is a public high school in the College Community School District in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The school opened in 1956 after the consolidation of multiple schools in the Cedar Rapids Metropolitan Area. Prairie High School serves the communities of Walford, Fairfax, Swisher, Shueyville, Ely, Southwest Cedar Rapids, and surrounding areas. Alliant Energy PowerHouse (formerly Five Seasons Center and later U.S. Cellular Center) is a multi-purpose arena located in the downtown area of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It was financed by the approval of a voter referendum to allocate special municipal capital improvement bond monies, after several prior bond referendums to build a civic center failed between 1965 and 1977. The Midwest Premier League (MWPL) is an American amateur and semi-professional soccer league. The league spans primarily the eastern and central portions of the Midwestern United States. The Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) is an amateur women's soccer league in the United States and Canada. It is the top amateur league for women's soccer in the United States soccer pyramid, below only National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The Major Arena Soccer League 2 is a North American indoor soccer league that serves as the developmental league of the Major Arena Soccer League. History M2 launched in 2017 to "provide an outlet for teams to either reorganize for a re-emergence in the MASL or an avenue for teams to compete in smaller markets in hopes of rising to MASL status."
