Dennis Bush
Dennis Bush (born c. 1951) is an American politician from Iowa. Early life and career Bush is a Cherokee County native who graduated from Meriden-Cleghorn High School in 1969, and was in the United States Marine Corps between 1971 and 1973. He married Deb in 1973 and they had two children, Randy and Nathan. Political career In 2012, Bush contested the second district seat of the Cherokee County board of supervisors. Bush, a Republican candidate, defeated the Democratic incumbent Larry Prunty. Bush won a second term as county supervisor in 2016. He vacated his seat in 2020 to campaign for the Iowa General Assembly and was succeeded as county supervisor by Bryan Peterson. The Iowa General Assembly is the legislative branch of the state government of Iowa. Like the federal United States Congress, the General Assembly is a bicameral body, composed of the upper house Iowa Senate and the lower Iowa House of Representatives respectively. The Senate consists of four year terms and the House consists of two year terms. The General Assembly convenes within the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. Don Shoning
Donald W. Shoning (8 July 1915 – 11 February 1999) was an American politician. Shoning was born in Battle Creek, Iowa, on 8 July 1915, to parents Harvey and Marie Shoning. He attended Danbury High School in Danbury, Iowa. Shoning met and married Danbury native Grace Richards, with whom he had two daughters. Shoning later attended business schools in Scranton, Pennsylvania and Oak Park, Illinois, and also served in the United States Army during World War II. After the war, Shoning was employed by the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Shoning was a member of the Republican Party who served on the Sioux City Council from 1966 to 1969. Chuck Soderberg
Chuck Soderberg (born May 24, 1957) was the Iowa State Representative from the 5th District. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2005 through 2015. Soderberg was born in Burt, Iowa.
