Inés Coronel Barreras
Inés Coronel Barreras (born 21 January 1968) is a Mexican convicted drug lord and former high-ranking leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, a criminal group based in Sinaloa. He is the father-in-law of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, the former leader of the cartel and once considered Mexico's most-wanted man. Coronel Barreras was arrested by Mexican security forces in Agua Prieta, Sonora on 30 April 2013. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison on April 28, 2017 for drug trafficking and illegal possession of firearms. Early life and career Inés Coronel Barreras was born on 21 January 1968 in Canelas, Durango, Mexico. He has also been known by the nicknames "El Uno" (The One) and "El Suegro" (The Father-in-Law). Canelas, Durango
Canelas is a town and seat of the municipality of Canelas, in the state of Durango, northwestern Mexico. Canelas is also known for a wedding that took place, that of the famous Mexican drug lord Joaquín Guzmán Loera and Emma Coronel Aispuro. Reports indicate that this wedding took place in 2007 in Canelas. As of 2010, the town had a population of 734. Geography Canelas is located in the Sierra Madre Occidental. Cananea
Cananea is a city in the Mexican state of Sonora, Northwestern Mexico. It is the seat of the Municipality of Cananea, in the vicinity of the U.S−Mexico border. San Luis Río Colorado
San Luis Río Colorado is a city and also the name of its surrounding municipality in the state of Sonora, Mexico. In the 2020 census, the city had a population of 176,685. The city is the fourth-largest community in the state, and the municipality is also the fourth-largest in terms of population.
