Innaarsuit (old spelling: ''Ivnârssuit'') is an island settlement in Avannaata municipality in northwestern Greenland. Located on an island of the same name, the settlement had 180 inhabitants in 2020. Upernavik Archipelago Innaarsuit is located within Upernavik Archipelago, a vast archipelago of small islands on the coast of northeastern Baffin Bay. Innaarsuit Island
Innaarsuit Island (old spelling: ''Ivnârssuit'') is an island in the Avannaata municipality in northwestern Greenland, home to the Innaarsuit settlement. Geography Innaarsuit Island is located in the outer belt of islands in Tasiusaq Bay, in the south-central part of Upernavik Archipelago. In the north, it is separated from sibling Ateqanngitsorsuaq Island by a very narrow channel. Innaarsuit Heliport is a heliport in Innaarsuit, a village in the Upernavik Archipelago of Avannaata municipality in northwestern Greenland. The heliport is considered a ''helistop'', and is served by Air Greenland as part of a government contract. Avannaata
Avannaata (, da, Det Nordlige, lit=The Northern) is a municipality of Greenland created on 1 January 2018 from the bulk of the former Qaasuitsup municipality. It encompasses an area of 522,700 km2 and has 10,726 inhabitants. Geography In the south, Avannaata is flanked by the Qeqertalik municipality. In the southeast, it is bordered by the Sermersooq municipality, however this border runs north–south ( 45° West meridian) through the center of the Greenland ice sheet ( kl, Sermersuaq), and as such is free of traffic. In the east and northeast it is bordered by the Northeast Greenland National Park.
