Hans Christian Andersen
Hans Christian Andersen ( , ; 2 April 1805 – 4 August 1875) was a Danish author. Although a prolific writer of plays, travelogues, novels, and poems, he is best remembered for his literary fairy tales. Andersen's fairy tales, consisting of 156 stories across nine volumes and translated into more than 125 languages, have become culturally embedded in the West's collective consciousness, readily accessible to children but presenting lessons of virtue and resilience in the face of adversity for mature readers as well. Stella Inger Escobedo is an Uzbekistani-born American television news anchor and reporter who's currently working at One America News Network. She was formerly aKFMB the CBS affiliate in San Diego where she was the morning and afternoon anchor. Inger-Escobedo joined CBS 8 after a short stint at CBS Newspath in Los Angeles as a network correspondent. Previously she was the 5, 6, and 10 p.m anchor at the ABC television affiliate, KGUN, channel 9, in Tucson, Arizona. Inger, Minnesota
Inger is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Itasca County, Minnesota, United States, along the Bowstring River of the Leech Lake Indian Reservation. As of the 2010 census, its population was 212. The center of Inger is generally considered as being at the junction of Itasca County Roads 35 and 146. State Highway 46 ( MN 46) is also in the vicinity. Inger is located 22 miles northwest of Deer River. In Ojibwe, the community is called ''Chi-achaabaaning'', meaning "by the Big Bowstring" due to its location along the Bowstring River. The village is located in the former Inger Township, which reverted to being unorganized. Named for one of its pioneer settlers, a post office was in operation from 1912 until 1955. Izhora River
The Izhora (, ), also known as the Inger, is a left tributary of the Neva on its run through Ingria in northwestern Russia from Lake Ladoga to Gulf of Finland. The Izhora flows through Gatchinsky and Tosnensky Districts of Leningrad Oblast as well as through Pushkinsky and Kolpinsky Districts of the federal city of Saint Petersburg. The settlement of Ust-Izhora (lit. "mouth of Izhora") is situated at the confluence of Izhora and Neva, halfway between Saint Petersburg and Shlisselburg. The towns of Kommunar and Kolpino are located on the Izhora as well. The river is noted as the farthest Swedish forces ever reached between the Viking Age and the Time of Troubles.
