Inezgan
Inezgane (; ) is the capital of Inezgane-Aït Melloul Prefecture located on the north bank of the Sous River, about south of Agadir, on the Atlantic Ocean coast of Morocco. It is in some ways a suburb to the larger Agadir, but unlike the tourism-centered Agadir, Inezgane is a typical Moroccan/Berber city. Located where the N1, N8 and N10 highways meet, Inezgane is an important transport hub in the region of Souss-Massa. Inezgane is well known for its souks and silver jewellery, as well as for its vegetable, fruit, and spice market. Tuesday is the main market day, when people come from all the villages nearby to sell their goods and buy provisions for the week. Souss-Massa
Souss-Massa ( ar, سوس ماسة, sūs māssa; ber, ⵙⵓⵙ ⵎⴰⵙⵙⴰ, sus massa) is one of the twelve regions of Morocco. It covers an area of 51,642 km² and had a population of 2,676,847 as of the 2014 Moroccan census. The capital of the region is Agadir. Geography Souss-Massa borders the regions of Marrakesh-Safi to the north, Drâa-Tafilalet to the northeast and Guelmim-Oued Noun to the southwest. To the southeast is Algeria's Tindouf Province. In Morocco, the 75 second-level administrative subdivisions are 13 prefectures and 62 provinces. They are subdivisions of the 12 regions of Morocco. Sous River
The Sous River, Sus River or Souss River ( Berber: Asif en Sus, Arabic: واد سوس) is a river in mid-southern Morocco located in the Sous region. It originates in the High Atlas and flows west passing Aoulouz, Taroudannt, Oulad Teima, Inezgane and Aït Melloul. It forms a basin which is protected from the desertic climate of the Sahara by the Anti-Atlas mountains and is one of Morocco's most fertile regions. The Aoulouz Dam is the main dam on this river. Aicha Tachinouite (berber: ⵄⵉⵛⴰ ⵜⴰⵛⵉⵏⵡⵉⵜ; born 1968) is a Moroccan Shilha singer and dancer. She sings and performs mainly in Tashelhit, her native Berber tongue. List Of Cities In Morocco
The basic unit of local government in Morocco is the commune. At the time of the 2014 Moroccan census, 2014 population census, Morocco was divided into 1538 communes, 256 of which were classified as urban and also called municipalities. The remaining 1282 communes were classified as rural. Urban centres were defined by the Haut Commissariat au Plan, High Commission for Planning for some rural communes. The following list includes all Moroccan municipalities with 50,000 or more inhabitants according to the 2014 census, as well as one urban centre of a rural commune whose population also exceeds 50,000 inhabitants. National Route 8 (Morocco)
National Route 8 (N8) is a national highway of Morocco. It is one of the most important road networks running through mid-central Morocco. It links with National Route 1 in Inezgane, a southern suburb of Agadir near the Atlantic coast to the central mountainous area of the country. The highway passes through cities such as Chichaoua, Marrakech, Beni Mellal, Khenifra, Fez, and the ski resort in the Atlas Mountains, Ifrane. At Marrakech it connects with the National Route 9. In June 2010 the main-section from Marrakech to Agadir with a length of 180,5 km was completed.
