Ines Uusmann
Ines Junéa Uusmann (née ''Johansson''; born 30 October 1948) is a Swedish politician. Born in Rolfstorp, Halland, she started her career as a trade union activist and became an MP in 1990. She became Minister of Communications (Transport) in 1994, a post she would hold until 1998, when she left parliament. From 1999 until 2008, she served as director-general for The ''National Board of Housing, Building and Planning'' ( Boverket). Ines Uusmann is the daughter of Thure G. Johansson, discoverer of the Bocksten Man. Bocksten Man
The Bocksten Man ( sv, Bockstensmannen) is the remains of a medieval man's body found in a bog in Varberg Municipality, Sweden. It is one of the best-preserved finds in Europe from that era and is exhibited at the Varberg County Museum. The man had been killed and impaled to the bottom of a lake which later became a bog. The bog where the body was found lies in Rolfstorp about east of Varberg on the west coast of Sweden, close to the most important medieval road in the area: the Via Regia. In 2006, he was reconstructed to show what he may have looked like when he was alive, and it was displayed in the Halland Museum of Cultural History, alongside the original skeleton. The discovery In the 1880s a farm called "Bocksten" was established near a bog. The bog was then regularly drained, and a harrow used to gather peat. Björn Rosengren
Björn Folke Rosengren (born 14 April 1942) is a Swedish politician and advisor to the Stenbeck family. Rosengren was born in Täby. He was active in the labour union and as a Social Democratic politician. He served as chairman of the Swedish Municipal Employee Union ("Vision", formerly SKTF) from 1976-1982, and on the Federation of Public Employee Unions TCO 1982–1994. He served as county governor in the Norrbotten County from 1995-1998, as minister of enterprise from 1998-2002, and as a member of the parliament in 2002. Rolfstorp
Rolfstorp is a locality and former parish situated in Varberg Municipality, Halland County, Sweden with 513 inhabitants in 2010. The name is formed out of Rolf (a male name) and thorpe (a new settlement). The latter part makes it likely that the village got its name during the 11th century to 13th century. Geography Rolfstorp is on the border between the mostly cultivated coastal area of Halland County and the mostly forest covered inner areas. History The western parts of the parish form part of a somewhat larger region, covering areas from Spannarp to Skällinge, which is rich on Iron- and Bronze Age findings. The eastern part of the parish has quite few remains.
