The Institute of Applied Sciences Ruhengeri (, INES), or simply INES - Ruhengeri, is a private research university located in the Northern province of Rwanda. It was established on November 17, 2003. The acceptance rate is around 80-90%, making it one of the most accepting universities in Rwanda. It is located in the city of Ruhengeri. In 2019, the university started a five year long collaboration with Bingen Technical University of Applied Sciences to research and improve farming practices in the area. History It was founded in 2003 as ''Université Internationale au Rwanda'', in a ceremony attended by President Paul Kagame. It was given the power to award degrees in 2010. In September 2019, it was reported that the university had started a research collaboration with Bingen Technical University of Applied Sciences in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. International Nuclear Event Scale
The International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES) was introduced in 1990 by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in order to enable prompt communication of safety significant information in case of nuclear accidents. The scale is intended to be logarithmic, similar to the moment magnitude scale that is used to describe the comparative magnitude of earthquakes. Each increasing level represents an accident approximately ten times as severe as the previous level. Compared to earthquakes, where the event intensity can be quantitatively evaluated, the level of severity of a man-made disaster, such as a nuclear accident, is more subject to interpretation. Because of this subjectivity the INES level of an incident is assigned well after the fact. The scale is therefore intended to assist in disaster-aid deployment. Doña Ines is a volcano in Chile. It is a Miocene age stratovolcano which is formed from lava domes that form its summit area and nuee ardente deposits which form the flanks of the volcano. Located north of the Salar de Pedernales, Doña Ines is a high cone with a diameter of . Lava domes form the top of the volcano and pyroclastic flow deposits are found on its flanks, generating a noticeable slope contrast between the steeper upper parts of the edifice and the more gentle lower slopes. The nuee ardente deposits contain blocks with sizes of up to . Overall the volcano covers a surface area of about . Additional lava domes can be found on the eastern slopes of the volcano. Eda-Ines Etti (, born 26 May 1981), also known as simply Ines, is an Estonian singer and songwriter. Etti represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with the song " Once in a Lifetime", placing fourth. Until their win the following year, this was Estonia's best result in the competition.
