''Inder Sabha'' (Urdu: اِندر سبها) is an Urdu play and opera written by Agha Hasan Amanat, and first staged in 1853. It is regarded as the first complete Urdu stage play ever written. The play was translated into German in the 1880s as a doctoral thesis at the University of Leipzig by Friedrich Rosen, and published to positive critical reception in 1892.Friedrich Rosen. Madan Theatre Company, also known as Madan Theatres Limited or Madan Theatres in short, was a film production company founded by Jamshedji Framji Madan, one of the pioneers of Indian Cinema. Abdul Halim Sharar
Abdul Halim Sharar ( ur, ; 4 September 1860 – 1 December 1926) was an Indian author, playwright, essayist and historian from Lucknow. He left behind, in all, hundred and two books. He often wrote about the Islamic past and extolled virtues like courage, bravery, magnanimity and religious fervour. ''Malikul Azia Vārjina'' (1889), '' Firdaus-e-Bareen'' (1899), ''Zawāl-e-Baghdad'' (1912), ''Husn kā Daku'' (1913–1914), ''Darbar-e-Harampur'' (1914) and ''Fateh Maftūh'' (1916) are some of his famous novels.
