Indrajith Sukumaran
Indrajith Sukumaran (born 17 December 1978) is an Indian actor and singer. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. Indrajith was born to the actors Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran and is the elder brother of Prithviraj Sukumaran. Indrajith (1989 Film)
''Indrajith'' is a 1989 Indian Kannada-language film directed and written by K. V. Raju. The film stars Ambareesh and Deepika, with Devaraj, Shashikumar and Keerthi in supporting roles. The music and lyrics of the film were composed and written by Hamsalekha. Plot Indrajith, an honest cop, is betrayed, accused of bribery and thrown behind the bars when he investigates a high-profile case related to an influential gangster. Upon release, he reunites with his wife and his son (who has been brought up by an old friend). He teams up with Fernandez, a handicapped police informant and a betrayed ex-cop, and develops an army of youngsters to battle corruption and seek revenge. Meghanada (), also referred to by his epithet Indrajita , according to Hindu texts, was the crown prince of Lanka, who conquered Indraloka (Heaven). He is regarded as one of the greatest warriors in Hindu texts. He is a major character mentioned in the Indian epic ''Ramayana.'' Meghnada is the central character in Bengali ballad ''Meghnad Badh Kavya''. He played an active role in the great war between Rama and Ravana. He acquired many kinds of celestial weapons from his Guru Shukra. His most prominent feat is having defeated the devas in heaven. Using the Brahmastra, Indrajita killed 670 million vanaras in a single day; nearly exterminating the entirety of the vanara race.
