Individual Dressage At The 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games
The individual dressage at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy was held at Stade Michel d'Ornano from 25 to 29 August. Great Britain's Charlotte Dujardin won gold medal in both Grand Prix Special and Grand Prix Freestyle while Helen Langehanenberg won silver medal in both events for Germany. The bronze in Special was won by Kristina Sprehe of Germany while the bronze in Freestyle went to Adelinde Cornelissen representing the Netherlands. Competition format The team and individual dressage competitions used the same results. Dressage had three phases. The first phase was the Grand Prix. Top 30 individuals advanced to the second phase, the Grand Prix Special where the first individual medals were awarded. The last set of medals in dressage at the 2014 World Equestrian Games was awarded after the third phase, the Grand Prix Freestyle where top 15 combinations competed. Dressage ( or ; a French term, most commonly translated to mean "training") is a form of horse riding performed in exhibition and competition, as well as an art sometimes pursued solely for the sake of mastery. Anna Kasprzak
Anna Kasprzak (born 8 December 1989) is a Danish dressage rider. She represented Denmark at two Summer Olympics (in 2012 and 2016). Her best Olympic result came in 2012 when she placed 4th with a Danish team in the team competition. Meanwhile, her best individual Olympic result is 14th place achieved in 2016. Kasprzak represented Denmark at 2014 World Equestrian Games held in Normandy, France and at two European Dressage Championships (in 2013 and 2015). She finished 4th with Danish team at the 2013 Europeans held in Herning, Denmark. Belinda Trussell (born 27 August 1971 in Sydney, Australia) is a Canadian Olympic dressage rider. Representing Canada, she competed at two Summer Olympics.
