Independiente Villela
Independiente de San Pedro Sula was a football club located in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The club played several seasons in the Honduran Liga Nacional as well in the Honduran Amateur League. History Independiente Villela obtained the Cortés regional championship in 1958 and had the right to play for the 1958–59 Honduran Amateur League which they eventually lost to Club Deportivo Olimpia. In 1980 they won the Honduran Segunda División, therefore gaining a spot at the 1981–82 Honduran Liga Nacional. They spent two years in first division until they were relegated in 1982–83. It was in the year 1992-1993 that the club was bought in the second division by businessman Miguel Villela owner of the Villela group and the team changed its nickname to chorizeros for the reason that it is a sausage company and added Villela to the club's name. Milton Reyes
Milton Alexánder Reyes Galeas (born 2 May 1974 in Arenal, Yoro, Honduras) is a retired Honduran football player, who played for primarily F.C. Motagua. Club career Nicknamed ''Jocón'', Reyes began playing professional football as a central defender with Yoro FC of the Honduran second division in 1993. He moved to then newly promoted Independiente Villela, for whom he made his debut in the Honduran National League on 24 September 1995 against Vida. He subsequently moved to Motagua, one of Honduras's most prestigious clubs, where he would play from 1997–2002, helping the club to five championships. 1997–98 Honduran Liga Nacional
In 1997–98 the Honduran Liga Nacional brought a new competition system; the league would be now divided into two tournaments (Apertura and Clausura), having C.D. Motagua won their 6th and 7th title in this new format. The tournament lasted from August 1997 to October 1998 and it consisted of 11 teams for the first time since the 1981–82 season. Leonardo Isaula
Leonardo Rubén Isaula George (born 8 February 1977) is a Honduran midfielder who currently plays for Atlético Choloma in the Liga Nacional de Honduras. Club career Isaula made his debut in senior football on 17 September 1995, when he played for Independiente Villela against Honduran giants F.C. Motagua. He scored his first goal three years later, also against Motagua. He then had a long spell with Real España and also played for Municipal Valencia and Hispano before finally playing for F.C. Motagua himself. After another stint at Hispano, Isaula joined Necaxa in summer 2010 and signed for Atlético Choloma for the 2012 Apertura season.
