1995–96 Honduran Liga Nacional
The 1995–96 Honduran Liga Nacional season was the 30th edition of the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional de Honduras, Honduran Liga Nacional. The format of the tournament remained the same as the 1994–95 Honduran Liga Nacional, previous season. Club Deportivo Olimpia won the title – 11 December 2009 after defeating Real C.D. Liga Nacional De Fútbol Profesional De Honduras
Liga Betcris de Honduras (''Honduran National Professional Football League'') is the highest division of football in Honduras. The league season is divided into Opening (autumn) and Closing (spring). One team is relegated to the Liga de Ascenso (the team with fewest points in Opening and Closing) and one team is promoted from Liga de Ascenso. The top four clubs participate in play-offs to decide the champion. The winners of the Opening and Closing competitions participate in the CONCACAF Champions League. History In the 1930s, football experienced a surge in popularity in the country. In 1948 with the birth of the Francisco Morazán Major Football League, the idea to organize football began to take shape. Luis Guifarro
Luis Eduardo Guifarro Pinto (born 25 August 1976) is a former Honduran football player who played for F.C. Motagua, Marathón, Real España and Real Juventud. He is currently a coach for Academia De Fútbol Chamaco Guifarro. Club career He started his career at F.C. Motagua in 1997. He won the 1997-98 Apertura and Clausura and 1999-2000 Apertura and Clausura with Motagua, scoring 4 goals. Since 2000 to 2006 played for C.D. Marathón. There he won 2001-02 Clausura, 2002-03 Clausura, and 2004-05 Apertura. In 2006, he moved to Real C.D. España for the 2006-07 Honduran Liga Nacional, where he became champion of the 2006-07 Clausura. In 2009, he returned to active football playing for Real Juventud. He retired in 2010 and is actually a manager. Camilo Bonilla
Camilo Bonilla Paz (born 30 September 1971) is a retired Honduran football player who made his name with the national team in the 1990s. Club career Bonilla started his career at Real España for whom he netted 17 league goals in 176 matches. He also had spell with Peruvian club Sipesa, where he played alongside compatriot Mario Peri. He played the final seasons of his career in Guatemala and El Salvador, joining Atlético Balboa for the 2002 Clausura. In summer 2005 he went in pre-season training with Salvadoran side Isidro Metapán from Dragón. Atlántida () is a department located on the north Caribbean shore of Honduras, Central America. The capital is the port city of La Ceiba.
