''In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles'' is the fifth compilation album in the '' In Search of Sunrise'' series mixed by Dutch trance producer and DJ Tiësto, released on 25 April 2006 in the Netherlands. It was mixed while Tiësto was on holiday with his friend BT in Los Angeles in February 2006. The packaging contains a special slipcase that is printed with metallic foil. It was certificated Gold in Canada for sales over 50,000 copies. It also charted, peaking 34 in Canada and 59 in Austria. In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles consists of songs that are mainly from the progressive trance or progressive house genre of electronic dance music. Tiësto
Tijs Michiel Verwest (; born 17 January 1969), known professionally as Tiësto ( ), is a Dutch DJ and music producer from Breda. He was voted "the Greatest DJ of All Time" by '' Mix'' magazine in a 2010/2011 poll amongst fans. In 2013, he was voted by ''DJ Mag'' readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years". He is also regarded as the "Godfather of EDM" by many sources. In 1997, he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the '' Magik'' and '' In Search of Sunrise'' CD series. Way Out West are an English electronic music duo comprising Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren. Originating in Bristol, England, they rose to fame in the 1990s with their UK-charting singles " The Gift" and "Ajare", and their debut studio album '' Way Out West'' was released in 1997 to critical and commercial success. James Cayzer (born 1985), better known by his stage name Jaytech (not to be confused with Youtuber Jaytech) is an Australian electronic music producer, DJ, and a trained pianist. Jaytech started producing at the age of 14, and released his first track at 16. In 2006, a remix of his track ''Genesis (Jimbo's Afterburner Mix)'' was included by Tiësto on his In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles compilation. Roger Shah (; born 29 November 1972), also known as DJ Shah and Sunlounger, is a German electronic music composer and producer. Biography History Roger Shah was born in Esslingen in West Germany to a German mother and a Pakistani father. His brother Pedro del Mar (real name Patrick Shah), also a trance DJ, hosts a bi-weekly vocal trance show called Mellomania. Roger first began to hit his production stride in his native country in 1999 putting out the tracks "Claps", "The Mission" and "Tides of Time". Cassandra ("Cass") Fox is an English singer and songwriter. She is best known for writing and singing the 2001 number one hit single " Touch Me", which she co-produced with Rui Da Silva. She is a co-founder of the US dance band Motorcycle, who released the world-famous song "As the Rush Comes" in 2003.
